Fall ’13 Student Sites

Nonprofit Social Media Consultancy: In keeping with its service-learning ethos, the Fall 2013 senior seminar class worked as social media consultants with 5 nonprofits in the communities in teams of 2–4 students each. Each team conducted a social media communication audit, devised social media policy, proposed a social media plan that would meet the nonprofits goals and in collaboration with their assigned nonprofit organization, designed, set up, maintained, and monitored social media networks and communication technologies most appropriate to meeting the nonprofit organization’s goals. Here below you can browse some of the projects for their nonprofits. Their social media networks and other media can be found on each student’s WordPress site created for the course.

Student News: Kate Hoch was hired mid semester by her nonprofit to continue working as her nonprofit’s PR person on staff. Ethan Reese has a job offer with WebMechanix, which he will join after this semester. Their group (The YES team) future-proofed YES’ social media networks to stay updated through winter break and until my Spring class teams roll in and take over. Halie Lear will be joining the prestigious International Global Media program as an intern in London. Jay Ningen will be starting as manager with Planet Fitness after the end of the semester.

  1. The right spinners can produce quite fantastic final results.
Most people have no concept with what rewriters are why they’re required.

  2. click here says:

You actually make it seem really easy along with your
presentation however I find this topic to be really one
thing which I think I would by no means understand. It seems too complex
and very large for me. I’m looking ahead on your next post, I will attempt to get
    the grasp of it!
